Retired Teachers Needed for Tutoring
Tutoring One On One was established by a local retired teacher with a continued desire to help children learn. We provide tutoring services for students of all ages K-12, as well as college levels, in all core subjects. We also offer tutoring for foreign languages, test prep (ACT,SAT, GED, AHSGE,etc), and more. We work with students who have deficiencies as well as students who desire enrichment. Tutoring services are provided at one of our four office locations in Madison, Hampton Cove, Riverton, or south Huntsville and at some local schools. Our tutors will help students with classroom curriculum goals by using the current classroom textbooks, worksheets, and homework/project assignments, and will supplement with other appropriate tools when necessary. Since we provide tutorials one to one, our office is open seven days a week at various hours to accommodate the needs of all students. The majority of tutorials will be after school hours and early evenings. Each tutor may choose his/her hours of availability and office locations desired. Tutors' pay ranges from $15-$20 per hour and includes all supplies/materials, workers compensation, and liability insurance. All positions are on an as needed basis.
