Volunteer Teachers Needed in South Korea
The Daegu English Village was established by Yeungjin College in October 2007 for Korean students' English education, and is being administered by Yeungjin College and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (USA). University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, our partner school for this program, provides English programs and curriculum.
The Daegu English Village is to develop in students of all ages English Language and cultivate global learning skills for the 21st century. Additionally the village establishes an environment which provides English experiences for South Korean citizens in a situational learning environment. Participants are supposed to speak English only, and utilize this environment to learn English.
Volunteer teachers will be provided air transportation to Korea, and will live in the Daegu English Village. Room & board (3 meals a day) will also be provided. Convenient facilities such as fitness room and coin laundry are available. Volunteer teachers will be expected to take in charge of summer vacation programs in the Daegu English Village, which consist of children's ESL, adult's ESL, and Korean teacher's training.
