The Parent Coaching Institute (PCI) is dedicated to making life easier for moms and dads in our increasingly complex world. The PCI has its headquarters in Bellevue, Washington, and is recognized both nationally and internationally as a valuable contributor to parenting resources and research.

Parent Coach Certification®
For professionals who wish to pursue a graduate-level, year-long, distance learning training to become certified parent coaches. The PCI offers the only accredited Parent Coach Certification® training program in the nation. Providing an exciting training year with leading-edge theories and practices, the PCI also provides its graduates with on-going marketing support and parent client referrals.
Parent Coaching Services
Certified Parent Coaches offer comprehensive coaching services directly to parents and through agencies, schools, and businesses.
The Parent Coaching Institute works with agencies, schools, and organizations to further practical, affordable family support. I am contacting you to learn more about your goals and to explore potential opportunities to collaborate on initiatives and/or to conduct future pilot studies.
I founded the Parent Coaching Institute in 2000 with the vision of transforming the world by revitalizing parenting. To date, the PCI has graduated nearly 100 certified parent coaches. Since 1987, I have focused much of my work on helping parents navigate media-related challenges; my book, Parenting Well in a Media Age, received the 2007 i-Parenting Media Award.
