Job Opportunity Available

The Evaluation Center at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton will soon begin an audit of math programs offered in a growing suburban school district near Atlanta.

A critical element of this project will be on-site data collection by small groups of site visitors. Visits will be conducted over one or more multi-day periods between late February and early April. Under the supervision of the project director, site visitors will be provided extensive training prior to visiting the school, and then will assist in the collection of relevant documents, interviews of teachers and administrative staff, classroom observations, and other tasks as needed.

Site visitors will be compensated for their time and reimbursed for expenses incurred to complete the work.

Qualifications include familiarity with K-12 schools, preferably including experience as a classroom teacher, the ability to work comfortably in schools and in flexible settings, and strong social/interpersonal skills.
