Bookkeeper / Membership Coordinator

Full Time Job Opening in Alabama Education Retirees Association for Bookkeeper / Membership Coordinator

Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related studies.

Required 3 years of previous employment in bookkeeping/financial services.

Duties to include:

Perform accounts payable and receivable using financial software.

Run required monthly reports pertaining to finances and membership.

Maintenance of all financial records.

Prepare for accounting audits on monthly basis.

Maintenance of membership database.

Maintenance of membership dues on monthly and annual basis.

Prepares for and attends state level meetings.

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Light travel required.

Able to pass background check.
